Focus: The focus of this self help is guide to providing an understanding how to use “Automatic numbering” for documents sent through PandaDoc

What is auto-numbering?: Auto numbering is when you have setup your PandaDoc account so every new document you create will be assigned a sequence value and number. Please note: The sequence value and number formatting must be setup inside of your PandaDoc settings. We have a limitation for the of characters a sequence can have, up to 32 characters. with a starting number up to 9 digits.

Use Cases:

Availability: The option can be enabled on the Business and Enterprise PandaDoc plans. Please enable it via the Add-ons store, Productivity category.

Template level enablement: Templates can be setup so all new documents created from the template will be auto numbered.

Step 1: Enable in the Add on store. Go to Add-0ns Store > Productivity > Auto Numbering.

Step 1a: Click on “Add to PandaDoc“ to enable it for your account. If you are on PandaDoc Enterprise, you can also enable it for your other workspaces and future workspaces.

Step 2: Auto Numbering Setup. Go to Settings on the lower left > Settings > Auto Numbering. Click on “Add Sequence” to add a new value and number.

Step 3: Configure Auto numbering – Here you will be presented with “Sequence Name” and “Start Number”. Add your unique value for “Sequence Name” and “Starting number”. Click “Add” when done. In this example we will use: “Sequence Name = PROP” and “Start number = 1”

Please note : You can have more than one Sequence in your account for all different types of documents. However if you need to edit them you can only change the number value; it cannot be set to a lower value if the sequence and number has already been used for a document.

Step 4: Using your sequence numbers in Templates . Now, once you have setup your sequences, it’s best to set them up in your “templates”, so your future documents created from this template will include the new sequence and number. Open a template, go to More > Settings > Template Sequence section and click on the “Gear” icon.

Step 4a: Template options… Here you can choose your Sequence you just created or you can even create a new Sequence here. Be sure to click “Apply” when finished.

Step 4b: Using Auto numbered token to populate the sequence number… Once you have the above configured, you can go to Content > Tokens > and you will see a token called “[Document.SeqNumber]” that you can use to populate at the document level.

Congrats, now your templates are configured. In the next step, we will discuss how documents are now numbered from this template. Shown below we have created a new document from our example template.

Step 4c: Example of a template in list view, showing the sequence has been enabled for the template:

Step 5: Sequence numbering at document level. At the document level, you will see the “title” of the document contain your sequence and number and in the subject line, when sending to your recipients.

Step 6: Sequence numbering editing document level. If you need to change the sequence used on the document. You can also go to More > Settings > Document Sequence to change the Sequence name. You will NOT have the option to change the Number of the document.

Step 7: Reviewing and searching for documents in list view. Now at any time, you can go to Documents in PandaDoc, click Search and search by your new sequence and number.

Farmers’ Week visitors jammed Columbia’s Broadway in 1919. Courtesy Boone County Historical Society.

In 1919, downtown Columbia was jammed with people and horses. The small town of just 10,000 had been invaded by more than 4,000 visitors, all scurrying for something to eat or to get to the next lecture. It was a scene that was re-enacted, to one degree or another, each year between 1910 and 1957.

Farmers’ Week was an idea to build the reputation of the struggling MU College of Agriculture. It succeeded wildly, becoming one of the largest agricultural events in the nation. Before the program faded after World War II, almost 10,000 people annually would visit Mizzou to hear agriculture faculty describe their latest research findings.

In a Missouri Alumnus magazine story, MU historian Jesse Wrench said the idea of Farmers’ Week originated in 1909 with Agriculture Dean Frederick Mumford.

The College’s winter short courses for farmers were successful, but small, even timid. Dean Mumford envisioned a big affair to bring together farmers, agricultural researchers and industry professionals. He wanted a new collaboration where his half-dozen faculty could showcase their research and get feedback.

Attracting new students was another goal — and challenge. Many Missouri farmers thought the very idea of a college teaching agriculture was foolish – the best training for a youngster was dawn-to-dusk on-the-job labor in the fields. Consequently, early MU College of Agriculture enrollment was sparse – only six students enrolled in its first year in 1871 and 29 in the second year. In 1895, there were still only 41 official students.

Dean Mumford’s vision for Farmers’ Week went beyond faculty delivering lectures. He wanted the show to be run by students. This would give them planning, budgeting and administrative experience, and spotlight them as leaders who could do more than walk behind a mule and plow.

That first Farmers’ Week in 1910 got off to a strong start. More than 200 farmers and professionals registered. Industry displays from as far away as Chicago included new plows, cultivators and seeds. Professors in shirts, ties and bowler hats rubbed elbows with farmers nervous about being on a university campus. The event also attracted dozens of high school students “to see the Missouri spirit at its best and get to know some of the things that Missouri ag students do during the year,” the Savitar yearbook reported.

Tattoo and permanent makeup removal specialist Lorena Öberg describes her method for removing permanent makeup tattoos

Ever since I started performing permanent makeup tattoo treatments, I have noticed its growth in popularity. 1,2 Google Trends exemplifies this growth, where interest in the term ‘eyebrow tattoo’ has steadily increased over the past five years. 3

Ever since I started performing permanent makeup tattoo treatments, I have noticed its growth in popularity.

However, in my experience, coinciding with this growth is the number of patients requiring removal. Traditionally, patients have requested removal because they feel the makeup no longer suits their more mature look. However, I am increasingly seeing people who have received bad permanent makeup treatment and have been disfigured by untrained technicians.

Currently, Level 5 training is recommended by Health Education England (HEE) for tattoo removal using lasers, 4 although an individual does not need any qualifications to perform the actual permanent makeup treatment.

However, permanent makeup is a difficult skill to learn, so even if one has training, it does not mean that they can do the treatment well.

For medical aesthetic clinics currently performing tattoo removal, or if they are interested in doing so, they should also consider incorporating permanent makeup removal.

There are three ways to reduce or ‘lighten’ pigment molecules from the skin: topical, non-laser solutions applied with a tattoo gun, and laser. All three of these methods have a place in your practice and can be considered for different circumstances, as discussed below.

1. Topical

There are many lotions that are being sold as ‘tattoo removal creams’, but I have not come across any clinical studies showing their effectiveness without combining laser. I have personally found them ineffective because they cannot penetrate into the dermis to reach the tattoo ink. 5-7

One guinea pig model study demonstrated a reduction in tattoo pigment using imiquimod and tretinoin after 28 days, however application started six hours after tattooing, which is not very reflective of real-life scenarios. 8

Prior to laser treatments, I have found that there are alternative topical methods that can help to assist with the removal of pigment. If a permanent makeup tattoo is under six months old, I use a simple technique of applying fine sea salt to the area and gently exfoliating twice-per-day for two months, which draws out the ink. I have found this can cut the number of required laser treatments in half, but it’s only effective with new tattoos as after around six months the ink settles.

Funny, I am reading this as I sip a drink I concocted with a little lemon preserve. I made a jar more than a month ago and am looking for ways to use them. It is a hot day here which means I need salt so I decided to add a little lemon preserve to my coconut water, ginger tea, fizzy water blend. It is really refreshing!

I finally opened my jar of lemons that I started last December. I made roast chicken with one sliced in half amongst the juices. It was heavenly! Next time I will ferment thesm in my fido jars since I did get a mold cap that was pretty funky. I tossed the first two layers of lemons. I used a 2 gallon jar and forgot about it for far too long. Thanks for the idea!

I’ve read that if the lemons are not bone-dry when you pack them, you’ll get mould. It’s something about tap water. As well, you don’t have to worry about oxidation if you keep turning the jar upside down every so often. Needless to say, I use real lids when I make my lemons.

And, to the person who said her lemons were too salty, you need to rinse them off before you use them…depending on your taste and what you’re making, that is.

I never rinsed mine! The longer they ferment, the milder they get, in my experience.

Hi! Are you referring to the olives or the lemons in the first paragraph of “fermenting lemons in morocco?

Treasa says

I did the morrocan lemons in a gallon jar about 2 weeks ago.. My jar has a fermenting lid on it and they seem to be doing well I don’t see any molds but some of the rinds are now above the brine. with this be an issue?

You always want the fruit or vegetable to be beneath the brine. Try a weight to push the lemons down.
